Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of WAL Control ("the Service"), provided by WAL Control ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

WAL Control is an operational platform for live production teams — rundowns, role views, control room execution, crew coordination, artist management, document generation, and storage. Features and limits depend on your active plan.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
• You may not share your login credentials. Invite team members through the in-app invitation system instead.

3. Plans and payment

• Plans are billed in advance for the billing period selected (monthly or yearly).
• Payments are processed via third-party providers (Paystack, Flutterwave). By upgrading, you authorise the charge.
• Plan limits — productions, crew members, storage — are enforced automatically. Exceeding a limit requires an upgrade.
• Refunds: we offer pro-rated refunds within 7 days of a charge if the service has not been substantially used. Email hello@walcontrol.com within that window.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.

4. Your content

All production data, rundowns, documents, riders, set lists, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content") remains yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service — storing, processing, and displaying Your Content to you and the team members you authorise.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload any content (including artist riders, set lists, and any third-party material).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes.
• Upload malware, viruses, or content that violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Resell or sub-licence the Service without written permission.

Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Service availability

We work hard to keep WAL Control available, but the Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages, and unforeseen events may cause downtime. Where possible, planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WAL Control is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Live productions are high-stakes operations. While WAL Control is built to be reliable, you remain responsible for backup plans, redundancy, and operational decisions made on show day.

8. Termination

• You may cancel at any time from Account Settings. Your data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.
• On termination, your access ends but your obligations under sections 4, 5, 7, and 9 survive.

9. Intellectual property

The WAL Control name, logo, software, design, and platform are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or use them outside the Service without permission.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, unless required otherwise by applicable law.
